NOTES to SELF
There really is nothing that ever needs to be said. There are no words that ever seem to fit. I question whether any of this is real here. It feels best just to sit. And to be good with that. I don't know that there is anything else.
I don't live in the real world, which is why I think not everyone gets what I write. So, I'm approaching the new record by going with whatever comes out first off the top of my head, from the back of my mind, without a lot of editing, or focus rooted in ego. There's less of me and more of the world in the subconscious. Maybe this one will hit home with more people. Maybe. In the end, how I go about it doesn't matter.
Whatever I find there is also here. There is no difference between here and there. Only my perception can pretend to separate one thing from the other. Harmony and discord, pain and comfort, day and night are the same.
Contrary to previous belief, I am unable to multi-task - to do several things at the same time. Scientific research has shown that the human mind does not focus on more than one thing at a time, but learns to switch focus from one thing to another, to another, and back again in very rapid succession so that it seems as if we are multi-tasking. I tend to agree. All of this, however, is tossed in the wash with the deeper awareness of my true self, the I Am, which is in constant and steady observation of all. This is difficult to explain except to say that when resting in my original nature at the ground level of being, all mental and physical processes occur in symphony; in a syncopated arpeggio; and in harmony.
The Truth can only exist in pure form, wholly true in and of itself. There are no partial or half truths.
Where ever you go, walk in such a manner that you leave a smile in every footstep.
Bhagavan Sri Ramana will be with me today to widen the openings and to pull the wires out of the basement so the connection can be made with harmony, happiness, peace, love, wisdom, and light, light, light.
Thoughts wither on the vine from lack of attention.
If you do not pass through the barriers, nor uproot the normal workings of your mind, whatever you do and whatever you think is a tangle of ghosts.
It must have been a pump strength to bottle size ratio issue that shot hand soap onto the belly instead of into the palm.
It's a drop of eucalyptus in water, breathing in the steam; Saline in the nettie pot; and Ram Ji's tea of ginger, lemon, honey, cayenne, and garlic.
Dizang asked Xiushan, “Where do you come from?”
Xiushan said, “From the South.”
Dizang said, “How is Buddhism in the South these days?”
Xiushan said, “There is extensive discussion”
Dizang said, “How can that compare to me here planting the fields and making rice to eat?”
Xiushan said, “What can you do about the world?”
Dizang said, “What do you call the world?”
Believe nothing you cannot verify for yourself, Son.
